Gut Healing Strawberry Gummies

Who doesn’t like the combo of sweet and tart, bright and tangy?

Candy that’s actually good for you? These gummies are made for with beef collagen which has some amazing benefits, see below to learn more. They’re sweet, tangy, and tart. The texture is chewy yet melts in your mouth. These gummies will be a hit with your 3-year-old, teenager, and grandma!

The best part is that they’re so so easy to make and fun to involve all of those that will be devouring them as soon as they’re ready to eat.

We love making them in different molds such as dinosaurs, hearts, robots… it’s super fun. Check out these silicone molds. If you’re impatient and want to eat them ASAP, you can also put them in the freezer for about 25 minutes instead of the fridge.

BEEF GELATIN – WHAT IS IT?

Beef gelatin is essentially collagen which is a protein. When you make bone broth and cook down the bones, collagen is extracted from them. It is not easy to add collagen to your diet but thankfully nowadays you can easily buy beef gelatin or collagen powder.

Why is it good for you?

Your body doesn’t produce enough collagen especially as you get older so it’s a good idea to supplement. It helps keep your skin elastic, your bones strong, and your hair thick. That’s not it though, it has many other benefits! Let’s first break down what it is.

Gelatin is made of 98–99% protein. The remaining 1–2% is water and small amounts of vitamins and minerals. Gelatin is the richest food source of the amino acid glycine.

Top Benefits

  • May help you lose weight: consuming beef gelatin has been proven to raise the hormones known to reduce appetite which makes you feel full.
  • Improves memory and attention. Since gelatin is very rich in glycine it can help with brain function.
  • Improves skin and hair. Studies show that gelatin will increase moisture and collagen density of the skin. It may also increase the thickness of hair
